Our Bungalow Home Reno

Our Bungalow Home Reno

After about a year of purchasing our little 950sqft bungalow I new that i wanted to stay on this property for many years to come. Across from the elementary school, in the country and a big private backyard with a pool. Knowing that we wanted a few kids we had to get creative if we wanted to stay in this house. I started sketching up ideas, wondering "what if this wall came out and we moved this here.. what if we put in a loft or take the roof off and add an entire second story!"  Lucky for me my husband designs houses so we got to design our dream home together. Renovating is a TON of work but done right, so, so worth it.

We still have a few finishing details to go but we are moved in and loving every bit of it.

Before & After Day 1 of becoming home owners! Linoleum floors, mustard yellow and red walls... lets just say it needed a bit of love.
..BEFORE RENO
We started off with a few cosmetic reno's when we moved in. Replacing the living room floor, painting the walls and cabinets along with making a few built ins.
Day 1 "Ripping the roof off"

At this point of day 1 the stress began.. After ripping the entire roof off we got shut down! The next day it down poured and didn't stop for a week. We got lots of water damage causing us to replace a lot more of the lower level then planned. But with the help of family and friends we got that roof back on and continued our build to get our family back into our home!
Finally after 5 months... Our new home
